    Hi.

Has your phone or your router any firewall functionality?
The speaker tries to connect to the streaming socket of soundseeder on your phone and this connection times out.

    Hi Kezzy.

The volume is not decoded in the audio stream. You only need to adjust the playback volume on the speaker to change it.
To seek in a track, soundseeder needs to decode, stream and buffer the correct position of the track you want to play…

    Hi Depon.
Thanks for your feedback. I’m working on SoundSeeder v2 at the moment.
Full Android Wear support is part of this roadmap. So please stay tuned.

You can already listen to the sound/music of youtube videos (but without seeing the video)

Check the FAQ: YouTube and Dailymotion support

Hello nordy. The license will not be lost when you reinstall the app.
The license is bound to your google account and will be available on every device you are using with this account.

The auto detection of your devices only works if your network router/hotspot supports “multicast”.
If the direct connection via ip-address also doesn’t work, there might be an active firewall (on the router or one of your devices)?!

I’ll take a look at xPL. If its as simple as it sounds, it should be possible, to support it with soundseeder too 🙂

    Hi manuel.
You are right, at the moment the only way to play music via soundseeder is using your android phone.

A player version for java/raspberry pi would be nice, but (at the momemt) the android version is our main focus and porting it to “standard java” isn’t that easy as the porting of the speaker app was…

So I hope you can live with the current solution. 🙂
Another way would be, to get an Android TV box. You can get them for about 40€…

    Hello. That sounds very interesting!

Could you explain more detailed how your script detects this event?
What kind of interface are you using?

SoundSeeder has been updated to v1.6.2

When browsing albums via dlna, the songs are now ordered by their track number (but only if you are in the context of an album).
For genre, folders etc, songs are ordered by name.

    Hi.
You need at least the java runtime environment (JRE).
But you can use a portable Version of Java, without installing it. This will not change any setting of your windows installation and Java will not be available in your browser.
