In I think it was April, Oracle pulled Java from, well, everywhere it appears. Anyhow, oracle-java7-jdk isn’t available, easily at least.

So, when I moved Kodi/OSMC to a new Raspberry Pi, I couldn’t install Oracle Java and thus Soundseeder doesn’t work. The speaker shows up as playing, but there’s no sound. Something with PulseAudioMixer, right? This has been a known issue with OpenJDK Java, I understand.

Is there a way to install oracle Java on my Pi? Or a way to make it work with openjkd?

Thanks for your feedback. I’ll receive my new Raspi 4 in a view days and will try to run soundseeder with the latest raspbian buster release.
Have you already tried to install oracle java? There are some decriptions available via google…
