    Hi team, could someone explain why when I jump forward on the same track, it takes 4 secs for the receiving speaker to catch up. Yet when I change volume it is immediate.

    Hi Kezzy.

    The volume is not decoded in the audio stream. You only need to adjust the playback volume on the speaker to change it.
    To seek in a track, soundseeder needs to decode, stream and buffer the correct position of the track you want to play…
